Vintage American Muscle
The Charger draws inspiration from the golden era of American guitar design — think classic car showrooms, chrome diners, and rock 'n' roll rebellion. Its distinctive offset body shape isn't just for looks; it's ergonomically designed to sit comfortably whether you're standing on stage or seated in the studio.
Every curve, every contour has been refined to honour the vintage aesthetic while delivering the playability that modern guitarists demand. The pearl white pickguard adds that unmistakable retro flair, catching the light as you play.
Roasted Maple Neck
The Charger's neck is crafted from roasted maple — a heat-treatment process that removes moisture and stabilises the wood. The result? A neck that feels like it's been played for decades from the moment you pick it up. Silky smooth, incredibly stable, and resistant to the temperature and humidity changes that can wreak havoc on untreated necks.
The C-profile neck shape sits perfectly in your hand, whether you're firing off rapid lead lines or laying down chunky rhythm parts. Combined with the 12" radius laurel fretboard and 22 medium jumbo frets, it's a setup that encourages you to explore every corner of the fingerboard.
Tone That Delivers
At the heart of the Charger are our custom-wound Hartwood HW-90 humbuckers. These pickups were designed in-house to deliver the perfect balance of vintage warmth and modern clarity. Roll back the volume for crystalline cleans that sparkle and chime, or dig in for thick, saturated drive that cuts through any mix.
The simple but effective control layout — volume, tone, and 3-way selector — puts all the tonal variation you need right at your fingertips without overcomplicating things.
Built to Perform
We've equipped the Charger with hardware that punches well above its weight class. Locking tuners with an 18:1 ratio mean quick string changes and rock-solid tuning stability — dive bomb to your heart's content. The GraphTech nut eliminates binding and friction, while the Tune-O-Matic style bridge with stopbar tailpiece delivers excellent sustain and precise intonation.
This is a guitar built for players who need reliability night after night, gig after gig.
The Hartwood Pickups
Our HW-90 humbuckers were developed over months of testing and refinement. We wanted pickups that could handle everything — from jazz-inflected cleans to full-throttle rock distortion — without losing their character.
The result is a pickup set with exceptional dynamic response. Play softly for glassy, bell-like tones. Dig in hard and they'll growl with attitude. The neck pickup delivers warm, round tones perfect for leads, while the bridge pickup has the bite and definition to cut through a band mix.
Available in Three Finishes
Black: Classic, timeless, and ready to rock. The matte black finish with pearl white pickguard is pure attitude.
Strawberry Milkshake: A soft pink that evokes 1950s diners and vintage Americana. Bold enough to stand out, refined enough to turn heads.
Peppermint Green: Our signature colour. Fresh, distinctive, and unmistakably Hartwood. This seafoam-inspired finish is for players who aren't afraid to make a statement.
