We started Hartwood with a simple belief: that beautiful, well-made guitars shouldn't cost a fortune. That the joy of playing an instrument that looks stunning and feels incredible should be accessible to every player — from the bedroom beginner to the gigging pro.
The guitar industry has long been divided. On one side, mass-produced instruments that get the job done but lack soul. On the other, boutique masterpieces priced beyond reach. We saw a gap — a space for guitars that honour the golden age of American design while embracing what modern players actually need.

From our studio in York, UK, we translate those insights into instruments. Classic silhouettes meet modern ergonomics — every curve, contour, and cutaway is drawn with real players in mind.
Build
Precision assembly meets hands-on attention. Every fret is levelled, every neck is set, every finish is inspected before it leaves the bench.
Play
